Open Edu­ca­tion on the irrelevancy of higher ed

The idea that America’s col­leges and uni­ver­si­ties are effec­tively edu­cat­ing the next gen­er­a­tion has become sus­pect. And unless these insti­tu­tions of higher learn­ing over­come their preva­lent iner­tia, irrel­e­vance appears to be a certainty.
