Tonight I made a much-​​overdue appear­ance on my girlfriend’s pod­cast, The Cre­ative Career, to get in a shame­less plug for my book and talk about build­ing a pro­fes­sional web pres­ence on a bud­get. The dis­cus­sion included host­ing your first blog with Word​press​.com, tips on buy­ing domain names and web host­ing and resources for putting up an online port­fo­lio with­out the need for a com­puter sci­ence degree.
