In June of 2009, The Cre­ative Career—a mar­ket­ing and career blog by Allie Osmar—replaced a down­loaded Word­press theme with a new site design and over­hauled brand­ing. Jeff worked with Allie to develop a site around her con­tent and pod­cast incor­po­rat­ing a logo and color palette. The design was then con­verted to a cus­tom Word­press theme to func­tion with her con­tent and set of plu­g­ins.

The lay­out is a sim­ple, two-​​column, grid-​​based design that empha­sizes the main blog con­tent. The logo is also used through­out as back­ground and footer ele­ment. This site also makes use of some CSS 3 fea­tures like border-​​radius and Webkit-​​only tran­si­tion effects.
